A solo unos días del emotivo entierro de Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, ex pareja de la fallecida cantante, estaría preparando un libro donde contará todo sobre ella, según una huffingtonpost.com.

La mencionada página web hace eco de lo dicho por un publicista, quien explicó que la idea de Brown de lanzar a la venta un libro existía desde 2008.

«En 2008 no había un gran interés por un libro sobre Whitney Houston. Whitney había salido del radar entonces, pero ahora, después de su trágica muerte, el mercado ha cambiado. Ahora es oportunidad para un libro con detalles de una mirada honesta en la vida de Whitney», explicó el publicista.

Pese a que tras su divorcio de Houston, Bobby Brown firmó un acuerdo de confidencialidad, él está dispuesto a sacar a la venta un libro para obtener un buen cheque.

«Este es el hombre que dejó el funeral de su esposa porque no le gustaron sus asientos y esa noche realizó una actuación pagada. No subió esa noche al escenario porque necesitara cantar sus grandes éxitos o porque Whitney hubiera querido que se presentara ante sus fans, lo hizo para obtener un cheque, la misma razón por la que ahora quiere decir todo en un libro», señaló un amigo de Whitney.

Hasta ahora Brown no ha hablado al respecto, pero sí trascendió que abandonó el funeral del sábado de Whitney por problemas con el personal de seguridad.

Just days after her emotional funeral, Brown is set to cash in on his 15-year marriage to Houston. The «My Prerogative» singer allegedly planned to release a book about his wife in 2008, but never published it because of a lack of public interest in Houston’s career and personal life at the time.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, a publishing insider said, «Back in 2008, the interest in a book on Whitney Houston wasn’t that great. Whitney had fallen off the radar back then. But now, following her tragic death, the market has changed. Now is the time for a book that details an honest look into the life of Whitney.»

If a book were to hit shelves revealing secret aspects of Houston’s personal life, Brown would likely receive considerable backlash from the Grammy winner’s family and friends.
«Bobby loves all his children. He would do anything to protect all his children,» his former attorney, Phaedra Parks, revealed days after Whitney died.

According to Houston’s friends, «This is a man who left his ex-wife’s funeral because he didn’t like his seats and went to a paying gig that night. He didn’t get on stage that night because he needed to sing his greatest hits or because Whitney would have wanted him to entertain his fans. He did it to get a paycheck — the same reason he now wants to write a tell-all book,» reports Huffington Post.

Brown has one major roadblock in his way before he proceeds with publishing. He signed a confidentiality agreement when he finalized his divorce from Houston in 2007 that would restrict how detailed he could be when discussing the years the couple shared married together.
