Juanes iniciará el 2013 con el pié derecho: continuará con su gira y además publicará un libro autobiográfico. El colombiano aseguró que este es un regalo para sus fans.

‘Persiguiendo el sol’ es el título de este libro, que se comercializará a partir de abril de 2013, y en la que Juanes revelará anécdotas y experiencias de las que nunca ha hablado: su niñez, sus inicios en la música, su antiguo amor por el heavy metal. El libro tendrá un importante recuento fotográfico que para él significa mucho, pues mostrará lo más íntimo de su vida.

La publicación está escrita a manera de entrevista, entre Juanes y el periodista uruguayo Enrique Lopetegui. Una charla que permitirá conocer más de Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez (nombre real del cantante).

Según explicó Juanes, parte del dinero que se recaude con la venta de este libro será donado a la Fundación Mi Sangre, creada por él para ayudar a niños y niñas que son víctimas del conflicto armado que se vive en Colombia.

Actualmente el cantante se encuentra cumpliendo unos compromisos finales con su fundación. Después, Juanes tomará unas vacaciones junto a su esposa la exreina de belleza y actriz colombiana Karen Martínez, y sus tres hijos. Las fiestas de fin de año las pasarán en su casa en Miami, y descansarán hasta mediados de enero, cuando inicie nuevamente con las presentaciones de su ‘Unplugged Tour’ por Centroamérica y el Caribe.

‘Chasing the Sun’ is the title of this book, which will be in book stores from April 2013. Juanes reveal anecdotes and experiences: his childhood, his beginning in music, his love by the heavy metal. The book will have a photographic section. This part of the book means a lot for him because shows the most intimate moments of his life.

The book was written like an interview between Juanes and the uruguayan journalist Enrique Lopetegui. The book is going to reveal unknown experiences of Juan Esteban Aristizabal Vasquez (real name of the singer).

Juanes explained that part of the money raised from the sale of this book will be donated to Mi Sangre Foundation, which he created to help children who are victims of the armed conflict that exists in Colombia.
 
Now the singer is concluding some commitments with his foundation. Then Juanes will take a vacation with his wife and ex-Queen of Beauty, the Colombian actress Karen Martínez, and their three children. They will spend holidays at their home in Miami. In mid-January, Juanes will start again with the presentations of his ‘Unplugged Tour’ for Central America and the Caribbean.
