Aunque lo m\u00e1s l\u00f3gico es pensar que la idea del contrato fue del padre, \u00e9ste explica en su blog que todo se le ocurri\u00f3 a su hija ya que quer\u00eda ganar algo de dinero y se dio cuenta de que invert\u00eda mucho tiempo en Facebook y era una gran distracci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n

La joven planea volver a utilizar la red social cuando termine la vigencia del contrato, seg\u00fan detall\u00f3 Paul Baier, vicepresidente del grupo Groom Energy en su blog Practical Sustainability<\/a>. El pago se realizar\u00e1 en dos partes, primero se entregar\u00e1n 50 d\u00f3lares y el resto tras el cumplimiento del convenio. La joven se\u00f1al\u00f3 que utilizar\u00e1 el dinero para comprar \u201ccosas\u201d.<\/p>\n

Para que haga trampa durante el tiempo que dura el contrato -del 4 de febrero al 26 de junio-, la adolescente entreg\u00f3 su contrase\u00f1a para que su pap\u00e1 pueda corroborar si el perfil registra alg\u00fan tipo de actividad.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsperamos que esto inspire a otros padres e hijos a considerar una interrupci\u00f3n similar\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Baier, quien ha recibido cr\u00edticas a favor y en contra por realizar este ejercicio con su hija.<\/p>\n

Paul Baier, VP Sustainability Consulting and Research at Groom Energy Solutions, shared on his blog Practical Sustainability, a photo of the agreement with his 14-year old daughter, wherein she (his daughter) has stated clearly that her Facebook account would be suspended from 2. 4. 2013 to 6 .26. 2013 (5 months). In return, her dad (Paul Baier) would pay her $50 in April and $150 in June, if she is successful. The agreement goes on to state that Paul Baier will have access to her Facebook account to change the password and to deactivate the account. This is to prevent her from reactivating her account in the future. <\/p>\n

Interestingly, Baier, has revealed in his blog that the idea was his daughter’s and he supports it fully. On his post, Baier has earned a mixed bag of reactions from people the world over. While some consider it to be a good idea to begin with, there are some who believe that there may be a way to flout that. <\/p>\n
