Se cree que Twitter, una compa\u00f1\u00eda fundada en el 2006, podr\u00eda salir a la bolsa en 2 a\u00f1os y ha pasado el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o tratando de convencer a los publicistas que usen sus capacidades multimedia para publicar avisos.<\/p>\n

\u00abComo los tweets, la brevedad de los videos en ‘Vine’ (seis segundos o menos) inspira creatividad\u00bb, escribi\u00f3 el vicepresidente de Twitter, Michael Sippey, en el blog de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

El creciente \u00e9nfasis de Twitter en transmitir video a trav\u00e9s de su red ha dado pie a especulaciones de que podr\u00eda albergar mayor contenido y crecer para convertirse en una estaci\u00f3n de transmisi\u00f3n de medios propiamente como tal.<\/p>\n

La red ha soportado videos adjuntados de YouTube desde el 2009, pero por primera vez, Twitter albergar\u00e1 contenido de video con Vine.<\/p>\n

Twitter adquiri\u00f3 Vine en el 2012; era una peque\u00f1a compa\u00f1\u00eda de 3 personas en Nueva York. ‘Vine’ tambi\u00e9n se lanz\u00f3 como una aplicaci\u00f3n independiente para el iPhone de Apple .<\/p>\n

The privacy issue forced Vine to temporarily disable Twitter and Facebook sharing soon after the launch. The option was restored later.<\/p>\n

According to Twitter, the problem was because of a bug that allowed cross-wiring of user accounts which let Vine users see the phone number and e-mail addresses of other users. Twitter denied that the bug gave users the option to post from other people\u2019s social media accounts.<\/p>\n
