El mensaje cr\u00edptico lo insert\u00f3 en uno de sus \u00faltimos crucigramas \u00ab18 abajo de la 19, que est\u00e1 siendo tratado con 13 15.\u00bb Los que resolvieron el crucigrama encontraron que la respuesta 18 abajo \u2013 \u201csign of growth\u201d \u2013 era c\u00e1ncer. Other clues had answers such as Macmillan nurse, stent, chemotherapy, endoscopy and sunset.<\/p>\n<p>The story hit the national newspapers and Rev Graham has been inundated with kind messages from well-wishers across the country \u2013 many of whom have been enjoying his crosswords since he started setting them for The Manchester Guardian, as it was then, in the 1950s.<\/p>\n<p>Of his unusual announcement, he told The Hunts Post: \u201cIt was more of an accident that I did it\u2026 I did the crossword first because that\u2019s the way my mind works. I thought I would put into a magazine I started with friends about 30 years ago. It seemed like the right place for it to go. It wasn\u2019t my intention for it to go in The Guardian.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey newspapers have all said I\u2019m dying of cancer,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s probably not true \u2013 I might have a long time left. I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m dying.
