La cantante de pop estadounidense Jennifer Lopez dijo antes de su concierto este viernes en Indonesia, el pa\u00eds con mayor poblaci\u00f3n musulmana del mundo, que se presentar\u00e1 en el escenario con un vestuario m\u00e1s recatado.<\/p>\n

\u00abEl espect\u00e1culo sobre el escenario seguir\u00e1 siendo el mismo que en otras partes\u00bb, dijo el organizador Jairi Ibrahim. Pero en su forma de vestir ir\u00e1 m\u00e1s tapada.<\/p>\n

\u00abLos bailarines no mostrar\u00e1n su torso desnudo\u00bb, reconoci\u00f3 Ibrahim, que con esta medida pretende evitar protestas como las registradas con la actuaci\u00f3n de la diva del pop Lady Gaga en mayo pasado. Los islamistas instaron entonces a un boicot de la cantante, que acab\u00f3 cancelando el espect\u00e1culo. <\/p>\n

\nJennifer Lopez was expected to wear less revealing outfits for her concert in the Indonesian capital on Friday, the concert’s promoter said. <\/p>\n

Lopez had agreed to cover up to conform to Muslim sensibilities, said Chairi Ibrahim, project manager for Dyandra Promosindo. \u00abIn terms of stage act there will be no difference,\u00bb Ibrahim said. \u00abBut she’s expected to cover parts that are usually revealed and the dancers will be clothed and not bare-chested.\u00bb <\/p>\n

But Ibrahim promised that Lopez would still show off her trademark booty-shaking dance moves in front of some 8,000 Indonesian fans. Lopez’s Jakarta concert comes five months after Indonesia made global headlines for refusing to issue a concert permit for eccentric pop diva Lady Gaga. <\/p>\n

The ban followed protests by hardline Muslim groups that said Gaga’s stage act was incompatible with local values and that she promoted devil worship. <\/p>\n

Ibrahim said there was little opposition to Lopez’s gig. \u00abWe were worried there would be problems, but after all, J-Lo isn’t as controversial as Lady Gaga,\u00bb he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
