\u201cSi producimos pornograf\u00eda infantil virtual bajo control estricto del Gobierno con una especie de sello que muestre con claridad que ning\u00fan ni\u00f1o ha sufrido abusos, podemos ofrecer a los pederastas una forma de regular sus pulsiones sexuales\u201d, explicaban en la publicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, agregan que de esta manera se reducir\u00edan los abusos a menores de edad. Otros pa\u00edses europeos consideran tambi\u00e9n en legalizar la pornograf\u00eda infantil.<\/p>\n

\u00abPienso que reprimir los fantasmas puede conducir a la frustraci\u00f3n y, al final, en ciertos grupos de pederastas, a mayores posibilidades de hacer algo malo\u00bb, reitera Erik van Beek.<\/p>\n

Las fuetes cr\u00edticas han hecho pensar que pronto el Ministerio de Justicia del pa\u00eds se preanunciar\u00eda al respecto debido a que la pornograf\u00eda infantil, en cualquiera de sus variantes es penada desde el 2002. <\/p>\n

Dutch debate over whether ‘virtual’ child porn should be legal<\/strong>
\nSexologists Rik van Lunsen and Erik van Beek of Amsterdam University Hospital (AMC) last month floated the idea of creating child pornography using drawings or computer-generated images.<\/p>\n

\u00abIf you make virtual child pornography under strict government control with some kind of label explaining that no child was abused, you can give paedophiles a way of regulating their sexual urges,\u00bb Van Beek told AFP, calling for an enquiry or at least public debate on the issue.<\/p>\n

Virtual child pornography — including drawings, paintings or computer-generated images — was made illegal in 2002 as rapidly developing technology made increasingly photorealistic images possible.<\/p>\n

As with \u00abtraditional\u00bb child porn, creating, owning or sharing such images is currently punishable by up to four years in prison in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

\u00abI think that repressing your fantasies can lead to frustration and, ultimately, for some types of paedophile, to a greater likelihood of doing something wrong,\u00bb Van Beek said.<\/p>\n

Around one percent of the Dutch population of 16.5 million has paedophile preferences, mainly men, but only a tiny fraction will ever abuse children, noted the sexologist. Many of them will moreover never feel the need to live their sexuality through child pornography.<\/p>\n

The two sexologists’ suggestion sparked fierce debate in Dutch media, blogs and discussion forums, as the idea has turned out to be controversial even in the free-thinking Netherlands.<\/p>\n
