Al ser arrestado dijo a la polic\u00eda que estaba \u201ccansado de huir\u201d. Una de las cadenas m\u00e1s afectadas fue Disney. El diario Orlando Sentinel, public\u00f3 que Hawkins se aloj\u00f3 en hoteles de esa compa\u00f1\u00eda 26 veces, con un desfalco de 18 mil d\u00f3lares. <\/p>\n

Jeffrey Hawkins said he was \u00absick of running\u00bb after allegedly spending 20 years living off stolen credit cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 49-year-old homeless man had spent the last two decades traveling the country, staying in hotels and living off of people’s stolen credit cards, according to ABC News.<\/p>\n

Hawkins’ alleged permanent vacation came to light on Oct. 23 when Orange County, Fla. Sheriff’s officers arrested him for trespassing at the Coronado Springs Resort, in Lake Buena Vista.<\/p>\n

Rather than discuss the trespassing charge, officers said Hawkins waved his right to remain silent and began talking about credit card fraud.<\/p>\n

Hawkins told police he had been homeless and jobless since the ’90s when he first began committing credit card fraud by writing down numbers he overheard or saw, according to a police report obtained by ABC.<\/p>\n

A search of his hotel room revealed the extensive nature of Hawkkins’ duplicity and turned up more than 100 credit card numbers, the report said.<\/p>\n
