La empresa LG fue la que llev\u00f3 a cabo la idea radical: mont\u00f3 una serie de pantallas en el piso de un elevador, que al activarse reproduc\u00eda una animaci\u00f3n en la que las supuestas baldosas del aparato se desprend\u00edan, lo que espantaba a los pasajeros, que por un instante sintieron que estaban por caer al vac\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>Ante la reacci\u00f3n azorada de las personas sorprendidas por el asunto -algunos se r\u00eden, otros prefieren huir por el susto-, ya se instal\u00f3 una pol\u00e9mica sobre la estrategia publicitaria y los riesgos de someter a la gente a semejante nivel de estr\u00e9s repentino.<\/p>\n<p>Tampoco faltan quienes sospechan de la veracidad de las reacciones de los pasajeros, ya que el material disponible es la edici\u00f3n final de la publicidad, en la que los \u00e1ngulos de las c\u00e1maras ocultas en el elevador siempre son los adecuados.<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aPk0a0e-dro<\/p>\n<p>LG Electronics Terror Elevator Ad Goes Viral<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a prank that seems destined for YouTube greatness and one that seems appropriate for April Fool\u2019s Day.A grid of IPS monitors are installed on the floor of an elevator to create an optical illusion that the elevator is plummeting to its demise as a hidden camera captures the reactions of riders who believe their end is near.<\/p>\n<p>The prank is not the work of Internet amateurs, however, but a new ad campaign from the Netherlands branch of Seoul, Korea-based LG electronics to promote their new IPS monitors. And the ad was launched just in time for the scariest of holidays, Halloween.<br \/>\nWith the tagline, \u201cSo Real, It\u2019s Scary, the nearly two-minute YouTube video shows riders\u2019 reactions as the IPS monitors display what appears to be the bottom of the elevator floor dropping out beneath them.<\/p>\n<p>A spokeswoman for LG Electronics in the U.S. told ABCNews.com today the video was created and posted to YouTube by the company\u2019s colleagues in the Netherlands.
