And according to a \u00abbonus clip\u00bb from sister Khloe’s E! reality series \u00abKhloe & Lamar,\u00bb Kim wants to become mayor of Glendale in five years. In the clip, Kim tells Khloe that she knows she must establish residency by purchasing a home in the Southern California city and then living in it.<\/p>\n
Kim didn’t appear to know that the position of mayor in Glendale is largely ceremonial and that the mayor is generally elected for a one-year term by and from among the members of the Glendale City Council. Traditionally the position rotates among the elected councilmembers, and all get a turn at being the mayor of the Jewel City.<\/p>\n
Kim Kardashian thinks her Armenian heritage will be an asset in her quest to become mayor of Glendale. The city is home to a sizable Armenian community. She made the comments in an outtake of her sister Khloe’s E! reality series.
