Marc Miller, director de Adventure Island, parque de atracciones donde se realiz\u00f3 el desaf\u00edo, dijo: \u201cFue un d\u00eda incre\u00edble, las personas aprovecharon la oportunidad de hacer algo memorable, divertirse y a la vez conseguir donaciones\u201c.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el director de fondos de la Prostate Cancer Charity, Mark Bishop, defendi\u00f3 la idea de usar jugadores desnudos para llamar la atenci\u00f3n sobre el c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo hay nada malo en ello, sobre todo si es por una buena causa. Estamos muy orgullosos de participar en este d\u00eda fant\u00e1stico, rompiendo r\u00e9cords. Estamos impresionados con las personas que tuvieron el coraje de ponerse desnudas en el nombre de la investigaci\u00f3n sobre el c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata\u201c, dijo.<\/p>\n

Naked mini golf world record ‘set’ in Southend
\nA record for the number of naked people playing mini golf in one hour has been set in Essex, organisers have claimed.<\/p>\n

Thirty people stripped-off in cold conditions to play the 18-hole course at the Adventure Island in Southend.<\/p>\n

The attempt will now be sent to Guinness World Records to be verified as a new world record.<\/p>\n

Event co-ordinator Tracy Jones said: \u00abWith them having to bend down to retrieve the balls from the holes, it made for some interesting sights.\u00bb<\/p>\n

She added: \u00abIt was certainly quite chilly down there this morning and there were quite a lot of goose bumps.<\/p>\n

\u00abBut people very much got into the spirit of it, stripped off and got on with it.\u00bb Mrs Jones said they had been set a minimum number of 30 \u00abbrave souls\u00bb for it to be considered by Guinness World Records.<\/p>\n
