El evento tendr\u00e1 por t\u00edtulo \u201cThe 20th Anniversary of The Bodyguard\u201d y estar\u00e1 precedido por el lanzamiento de una edici\u00f3n especial en Blu-ray de la pel\u00edcula, que incluir\u00e1 el v\u00eddeo musical de \u201cI Will Always Love You\u201d, tema que posicion\u00f3 a Whitney Houston en la cima del \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n

El disco tendr\u00e1 adem\u00e1s material adicional, en el que aparecen Kevin Costner y Whitney Houston. El Guardaespaldas recaud\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 410 millones de d\u00f3lares tras su debut en noviembre de 1992.<\/p>\n

Whitney Houston’s ‘The Bodyguard’ going back to theaters for a night<\/p>\n

The actual 20-year anniversary of \u00abThe Bodyguard\u00bb is November but the Whitney Houston-Kevin Costner movie will be back in theaters for one night only on March 28. It will be shown in select theaters at 7:30 p.m. that day. <\/p>\n

Two decades ago, the odds seemed against it. Costner looked geeky with that unflattering haircut, Houston had never acted and the critics hated it. Still, audiences flocked to \u00abThe Bodyguard,\u00bb sent its soundtrack to the top of the charts and reacted warmly once more when clips were played after Houston’s death last month. Costner, of course, spoke at her funeral.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros., by the way, will release a 20th anniversary edition on Blu-ray on March 27.
