\u201cEstoy orgullosa de ser brit\u00e1nica y poder ondear la bandera\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Adele, cuando James la cort\u00f3 de tajo, para dar paso a la presentaci\u00f3n de la agrupaci\u00f3n, famosa desde los 90.<\/p>\n

En ese momento, con visible molestia en su rostro, la int\u00e9rprete realiz\u00f3 la se\u00f1a, que fue captada por las c\u00e1maras, ya que la ten\u00edan en primer plano.<\/p>\n

No obstante, la ganadora de 6 Grammys, asegur\u00f3 a la BBC que su reacci\u00f3n no fue dirigida a la audiencia.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnse\u00f1\u00e9 mi dedo medio, pero fue para la gente de traje (los organizadores) de los Brit Awards, no para mis fan\u00e1ticos\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3 la int\u00e9rprete, quien agreg\u00f3: \u201cSiento mucho si ofend\u00ed a alguien, pero los trajeados me ofendieron a m\u00ed\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old was midway through a brief acceptance speech at the packed O2 Arena in her native London after picking up the big prize \u2014 best British album for her chart-conquering 21.<\/p>\n

But because the show was running late, and was being broadcast live on ITV, presenter James Corden stepped in to cut Adele short, prompting the \u201cone finger salute\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Sun newspaper, Britain\u2019s best-selling daily, had a picture of the gesture on its front page above the headline \u201cSomeone dislikes you\u201d, a reference to her hit Someone Like You.<\/p>\n

The rival Mirror featured a similar image accompanied by the words \u201cAdele: Go to hell!\u201d<\/p>\n
